Trip to Penang was a quick one, before I knew it, I was back in Singapore and plunged right into the rat race again... Appointments and weddings assignments. Covered a Malay engagement party last Sunday.. a lot of fun coz there's so many stuff involved from rites to gift exchange to knowing the culture and experiencing it 1st hand.

The couple was very kind to brief me long before the event but it's still very exciting to try to keep pace with the flow. I was practically running up and down stairs for certain events takes pplace in the living room (the 'negotiation and acceptance of betrothal gifts') and then upstairs, the acceptance and representative of the male family to present the ring of engagement to the bride in her room.

Came home tired on Sunday but it was a good shoot. Started off today with the last bit of editing for this couple's wedding early this month... sigh.. 1 down, 2 more to go!
