The BIG cleanup...
I think cleaning the house is good therapy for the uninspired.
After meeting a client for lunch, came back home and looked at the house.. man, feels dirty so started to clean my bedroom 1st and one thing leads to the next... started to move furniture around and before I knew it, I was redecorating the room... darn.. and seriously, one leads to another.. after seeing how my bedroom is now (very clean and tidy), I have to do something to my study room (AKA my office as well)...
I dunno how long I spent moving things around and even assembling a 150cm high aluminium rack to make it into my work filing cabinet and magazine storage rack (man, I think I really spend a bomb on magazines every other month.. from Female, Her World, ICON, nUyou, Harper's Bazaar, sTyle to design mags like ISH, wedding magazines like sTyle Weddings, Her World Brides and of coz, my faithful FiRST monthlies...
Had to make a decision to throw out the unnecessary and those mags that doesn't really have any good stuff inside...
AT least now I have (once again) a very spacious and condusive home office to work in and feel comfortable and inspired.
And after the whole cleaning (including the rest of the house) I felt super good.. perspired and tired but satisfied that the house is clean... ahh.. the comforts of home...

it is alway hard to throw away good things when it comes to major clean up... same here..

I simply LOVE housecleaning. It's the best way I destress. When I throw away all the excess garbage in my life, I feel "purged"... heehee... a simply wonderful feeling.
