Leaving for Penang!
Haven't slept a wink coz I was doing some last minute work, watching DVDs to keep awake and probably too excited to sleep for fear of missing my flight.
Will start my journey from Kranji MRT bus stop and hop on a CW1 (Yellow CauseWay Link bus) to Larkin for the immigration and then to Senai Airport. Should be about 1hr 15mins here or there.
Then it's check in @ Senai and off we go to Penang!
Heheheh.. will be checking out the Shopping areas and stuff. Shooting film this time round so hey! let keep fingers crossed for good shots!. If there's any good recommendation for food in Penang. DO let me know by bloggin your comments. I am checking my emails and blogs there coz the place I'm staying @ has internet facilities in the room. Hotel's called The Northam Suites.. hehehhe
see you guys! ^.^

have a good trip. Good food at Gurney Drive, I think.

Gurney Drive??? Over-rated and lousy food... Well, except for their Penang style rojak...
New Lane corner coffeeshop, off MacAlister Road, got good fried pig intestine porridge, the other food store there are generally good...
Chendol!!! I only take Penang's chendol. It's one of those roadside stores off Penang Road... Cannot remember which road it was in - but you can ask around, they will know and can guide you there...
Oh, the assam laksa from the coffeeshop behind that chendol store is ok, and definitely better than the Gurney drive ones. Of course the famous one is the roadside corner store at the market near Kei Lok Si temple... But I prefer the store off the main road somewhere in Farlim, but I only know how to get there, not the road name... People that eat from that store will sometimes order popiah and dip it into the laksa soup... Very nice, I ate 2 bowls of laksa from that store on my most recent trip...
Then there is ice kacang at Swatow Lane... But I don't really eat it, so I am not sure if it's still that good...
Darn... I am drooling again....

hahaha... thanks for the tips VisInvis.. heheh.. yeah, was reading about Gurney rd stores' food has been getting bad to worse but the price just became inversely higher.. but it's an excellent place to go street shooting. Wil go try out the areas you recommended.
Silver_crv: hehehe.. come come! hehe welcome you but you book your own suite yah... neh.. not really into landscape (you should know better) so will go street shooting around the places.
Thanks pfong and lil' snooze! Hope to have good 'harvest' from this trip also.. ^.^
