A little walk on Sat....
So we dragged our reluctant selfs out of bed @ 6.45am, washed up and traveled to meet Xiao Long Pau. The aim is to enjoy the walk and then have a good brunch @ Seah Im Food Center (Opp Harbourfront). The air in the morning was tranquil and refreshing, sunlight beams thru' the foliage and we had a great time just sharing a good conversation.
Of coz, along the way I would drift off to take some shots and ended either chasing after Ms Clover and Xiao Long Pau or waiting for them. The whole route of abt 6km (we ended at Vivocity instead of West Coast) took us thru' Kent Ridge Park, Hort Park, Telok Blangah Park and Mt Faber. The construction of the treetop walkway was quite a project which benefited the locals like us who seldom venture over to the Southern side to discover the beauty of nature. Now that it's so accessible, it's going to be quite a regular thing.
Anyway, I'm never good with words so here's some shots to share:
Din really take a lot of photos coz the Ricoh went dry (forgot to charge since I got back from Bali) when I reached Henderson Waves but the entire journey was just amazingly great, blessed to be in the company of good friends, candid conversations, nice weather (it only got really hot around 10.30am), made plans to go try the food @ Jewel Box (Mt Faber). If food sux, hopefully the ambience and the view will make up for it :)
Think next week will go for the AMK-Kallang one :p

yes yes, it's a nice place to go for a walk in the early hours of the morning. Yupz, there's a lot of places for picnic in the parks too!
LMS:
There's quite a few exit routes along the whole walk but it's fun to reach the destinations to reap the rewards of accomplishment :D
