literally it has been a great weekend of non-stop fellowship and dining with the friends.

As I turn 29 in a few minutes, i thank God for His love and mercy for me for the past 29 years... Its been a great journey and i am still counting the blessings every single day!

I thank Jesus for His gift of salvation, for the renewal of life blessed unto me and for life everlasting. I thank God for great friends who loved me beyond my faults and my quirks. Itz been just a great birthday this year with an early celebration @ Al Forno. Great service, amazing food and not forgetting the valuable company and fellowship of my close friends.

Char Siu Pau even gotten 2 great bottles of the Aust. White Box Shiraz (it's quite rare to find these days  till we even started to look out for each other and update when we find it) its not everyday that a good bottle of a 90+pointer wine appear cheaply in the general market. We decided to head for drinks @ Klee bar (Portsdown rd) but it was crowded but I super lurve the décor and vibe from the place. Decided to make do @ Laurent Choc cafë and got intoxicated with the rich choco desserts and drinks. Not yet ready to call it a nite, CY, Ms Clover and I went down to the Wine Company near NIE to have another round of red wine + finger food (the goat cheese on toasted bread is fantabulous!). The wine which CY introduced was also amazingly robust and yet easy to drink. Char Siu Pau, Lian Rong Pau & Xiao Long Pau couldn't join us as they were already in screen saver mode by the time we were done with the choc portion.

Anyway, i had a few rounds of great Italian food: last Thurs it was da Paolo with LMS, Sat @ Al Forno and then next week, its Friends@Serangoon Gardens with Yveon and BB Nat :) Ohh did I mentioned I am really falling in love with the quint Garden Slug cafe located along Telok Kurau Lor L. Before the meal with the friends, I met up J & C there and had an extremely enjoyable 3hr lunch while chatting abt their wedding plans. I am just so extremely blessed :)

Ohh yeah, today was another nice day out with the friends: had a great lunch @ Holland V's Chrystal Jade La Mien Xiao Long Pau then desserts @ Haagen Dazs. Then evening after a nice DVD viewing of '2 Days in Paris", we haded down to Menya Shinchan for ramen and then desserts @ TCC... hahah.. super sinful sia.... but what the hey, it's a great way to end the day.

So what about any thoughts on being 1 year older?
