Yesterday was a great day! The weather though is darn hot but hey, at least it's not raining!
Okie, so my day went like this - met up with a wedding hopeful @ TPY central to present my portfolio and what do you know, she brought a bunch of office friends (all ladies) along and one of them is also looking for a photographer for her A.D wedding... hmm.. so did a sale pitch to the both of them and prayed for the best!
After which, travelled by bus from TPY to Buena Vista/ Commonwealth to meet up with Ms Snooze. Before meeting her, I popped over to Holland V to my fav cafe, Breko, for a nice cold QuickSand... ahhh... *happy*
Walked over to NCSS with my darn heavy shoulder bag (really weights a lot when you have your Powerbook in that casing from MarWare, 2 coffeetable books, 1 editorial catelog, a full set of camera equipment in it) from west Sussex road... really perspiring by the time I got there.
Okie, went around from floor to floor literally to look for a suitable place to shoot groups for NCSS A.R and finally, we found it at the Volunteers' Lounge.. big and spacious and definitely a lively enough place.
Seems that it was a really blessed day when I got to pitch to Ms Snooze's colleague who's also getting married next year. Went over the usual routine of presentation and answering queries which ended quite well. Now the ball is in her court :)
SPH called me also, I was quite surprised to get a call from them (really think my portfolio cannot make it for the post I applied for) and was told that despite my original applied position was already taken up, due to recommendations from TehPeng's dad (thank you! thank you!), I am now being considered for another department's designer but on a 1 year contractual basis. Hey! This is good news!
Must pray that they would grant me an interview so that I can start work immediately :D
The side in SingaporeBrides.com.sg seems to do well also, had a lot of emails quering about my A.D service due tt the recommedation from the last wedding couple I did. "April Bliss" seems to be very appealing to the ladies out there!
Had dinner with TehPeng and Ms Snooze together with my darling.. haha.. seems to be a notion of a double date. Went to eat @ Spizza (Yumzz!), exchanged our funny stories of how we met our potential other halfs (coincidentally, all 4 of us had our 1st date @ Holland V.. wah, must commemorate our meetup anniversary there liao... hahaha) then we adjourned to TCC for their lava cake (not badz, better than Bakerz' Inn but the ultimate is still THE OLIVE's). We exchanged more stories about our Army days and all the days gone pass... it's really nice knowing that we have all grown up from where we were before.
Okie, enough of updates, maybe later going for a run (this week I have been very lazy and really eaten too much)

Must do such dates more often so we can get to know Serene more and she can open up to us more!
