Thoughts of the week...

Suffering a little from blogging withdrawal symptoms so decided to write a little tonight.

After an exhaustive Sat wedding shoot, I thought maybe I can just catch up on my sleep on Sun afternoon after church but nope, the Army got plans.. yupz, MOBILISATION.... sianzzzzz....

Actually I got the call while on the way to church for band practice and I have to call my 'boss' to info him that I will be coming in later than M-time, at least after the worship session... it's a drag but I was kinda expecting the recall to be this year since the past 2 years have been rather quiet. In all things I still want to thank God for making this year's recall on a Sunday; if it were on Sat, then it's really a mad rush to finish up the wedding I was shooting and rushing to register then rushing back to the wedding again.

I remembered I was just commenting to Ms Clover one night recently while we were driving down Portsdown Rd to meet Xiao Long Bao @ her place that I miss Ayer Rajah Camp and DANG! here I was on a Sunday afternoon, in green and in a daze...

It's nice meeting up with all the men and my fellow officers again but I would really enjoy it more if it's an in-camp and not a short 5 - 6 hours mob exercise. I was getting updates on each other's lives and the latest movements of our friends in the Army and kept thinking to myself what will I be doing now if I was still in the Army as a regular...

Anyway, the recall ended and our coy's recall percentage is on a high: not a bad thing for a young company - ha! got news that there's no In-Camp till the opening of the next financial year! yippee!!

Sunday night was spent just potatoe-ing infront of the tele and the game console.... but wasn't really concentrating on what I was doing.. there's quite a lot of events coming up in the next few months and will be updating those soon.

Right now, I'm just dying under a huge pile of unedited photos....
