Love Cambodia Photo Exhibition @ YCCL
The photos were great and the exhibition experience was enhanced further with a dedicated showcase footage compiled and edited painstakenly by VisInvis while the rest of the team put in a lot of effort in printing and presenting their experiences.
Kudos to TehPeng (photographer), Lil Snooze, VisInvis, MightyMouse, younger brother of MightyMouse - MiniMouse (who came up with these nicks for them? hehehe), Kito and Ms Penguin P!
Pfong & wife, together with a blog friend, Edenophotos, (*edit - found your blog site:) swung by also. heheh... overall, the exhibition was a hit! Presenting some snaps of the event, finally managed to tweak the 1D's colors to what I wanted...
I will be updating this post later with images from the Ricoh GrD, for now, it's just the 1D2n. I also had the opportunity to play with Tehpeng's newly acquisted toy - the Sigma 10-20mm f4-f5.6... sweet vignetting and edge light falloff when shooting @ 13mm (x 1.3 FLM).. thanks man.. this lens is sweet :) Tempted...
later.. ^.^
(* edit - added more shots)
I like it when the ultra wide perspective gives you an almost instantaneous framing for pano shots.
an almost literal "all walks of life"
don't you just love the super wide angle perspectives? Any actions captured will be further impacted by a dramatic change in the perspectice plane but it can be quite a challenge to get the focal plane to look right as it can get quite distorted.
I seriously love this simple shot of BJ :)
wow thanks for the shots. really nice angles.
can i post some of your photos on my blog?

hahaha... actually I didn't have alot of opportunities to take him or Lauren so this is a good time. Besides, he's the only one who stayed around after the initial crowd :)

Good to meet up with you again Ron. Thank v. much for the shoot planning ideas. There'a a whole new level of stuff for me to think about now.

Hi Ron! Your dynamic coverage of the exhibition is really interesting. Thanks for the link too.
btw, canon's 10-22 is a much better purchase if you're into the wide lens thingy. It's the best in its class. I got the 10-20 cause bobian nikon mount.
