Nokia 6230 and the iSYNC woes

Hmm... went to get the Nokia 6230 phone which I've been targeting since its launch last year.. guess it's the shape and functionality that appeals compared to the other Nokia models...

anyway, wanted to sync the data (esp contacts from my previous phone T610) to this beauty but then iSYNC hasn't come up with the capabilities to sync with Nokia Series 40 & Series 60 phones!!!! Argh!!! Does that mean it's the tedious 1-by-1 manual input method?! Why Ericsson's phones worked so seamlessly with Mac and Nokia is so slow in its footstep....

Spent the next 2 hours in the afternoon sending the contacts 1 by 1 over bluetooth from the Mac.... finger wrenching and darn monotonous. Anyway, managed to send those 300 over contacts over and syncing it with my PC 1st via the IR connectivity (it's such a pain to lose all the contacts so 2 copies is better than 1)

Hmm.. update later when I have finished transferring some of the graphic and music files for that unique ringtones / look

but after the painful manual keying in, its a breeze and painless use of the nokia phone..unlike ericsson which is quite diff to use....
