A quick update...
Well, Monday started off with a bad headache in the early morning coz I stayed up the whole night (yes.. again) to finish the last of my wedding assignments before heading off to Taipei this Friday (yeah!)
Rushed off to print the photos and had to go meet a client for a commercial shoot this Wednesday (busy.. busy.. busy...) lots to plan and do after seeing the location as well as deciding on the theme of the shoot. "Are you Game enough" seems to be a neo-theme for this millinium... forging new frontiers and blah blah blah...
Anyway, after all the arrangements and settling the collection of the photos, we (darling and me) went off to the town area to pick up a nice set of clothes suitable for the cold weather in Taipei (hoo.. 11 degrees at night!) which will look good for the camera as well. After a tip off from Lil'Ms Snooze on Sunday that Zara and MNG is having their season-end sales, we pop by to take a look.. well things are really cheap (most of the prices are slashed by more than 50%) but Ms CLover couldn't find anything that suited her... actually she's a little more picky...
Righto, off we go to other boutiques... Armani Exchange.. right.. this is where she really like this 3/4 fur trench (which I personally think is very nice) but the damage is around SGD$600.... NEXT! DKNY - SGD$620.... NEXT please! Funny thing - Ms Clover seems to find all these way damaging to the wallet 3/4 trenchcoats fitting and nice *gasp* very expensive taste...well, in the end, we didn't buy anything as we could get better looking ones in Taipei for a much lesser price.
Ohh.. we both bought something for each other for the trip - ready? I bought Ms Clover this Risis necklace piece from the Netsuke Charm collection.. the design is really bold and nice, discreet yet eye-catching. A unique piece which I have decided to get as a surprise for Ms Clover when we go Taipei.
And... she bought me.... the LIMITED EDITION OAKLEY Dartboard White camo shades!!!
Okie, this is a little extravagent I know BUT the thing is both of us looks good in the shades and personally, I think it really looks ultra cool on Ms Clover - more like the modern chic gal... very good for photoshoots... hehehe.. and for once, she actually like the design...
So.. it's countdown to our Taipei trip this Friday! Yippee!!!
Later folks!
Haha, I think the combined damage can't be anything less than the DKNY or A/X trenchcoats lor!=) You two are such shopaholics. I know why MS CLover cannot find anything nice in MNG..she can't shop in sale environment, where clothes are such a mess and you got to dig for stuff. Haha, I think I may be like that too! Hmmm...though I would love the bargains..
