X.M.A.S hiatus
Realised that I haven't blogged for sometime already... so here's a short one:
Since coming back from Japan and trying to make sense of the spiraling feeling that I like overseas so much better than in Singapore... I have been really busy with designing and laying out a Christian book project which have to meet the dateline for production and distribution by 1st week Jan while at the same time, trying to sort out my photography work and schedule.
These days in my heart, I was kept reminded the small little phrase "Count your blessings."
I felt God really ants me to count my blessings: to be able to have so many choices is a blessing, to have a budget to work with is a blessing, to have advice from friends and family who knew and have experience is a great blessing :)
Just this week, we completed and recieved the keys to our house in Lompang Road. It's a blessing as well as a stressful time for me coz the possibilities of designing the new abode is nearly unlimited but we do have a budget to keep to as well as limitations to think about. Stepping from one designing project (the book) to the next so quickly is not a good idea seriously...
I have to admit that I flared up a lot during this period coz living conditions and personality has to fit with what we can and cannot do... and becoz' we are using a contractor, the onus on designing the outlook is left more or less to us which added more pressure.
SO many points to consider, so little time coz we need to get the house ready before Chinese New Year in end Jan 2009 so work has already by and by started with the demolishment. We spent countless nights just going through the whole layout and planing spaces... and finally came up with designs that made everyone happy.
So for the next few weeks, I don't think I will be posting much on the blog coz I will be really busy with the house as well as settling Jeremy & Chrystal's pre-Wedding photos for the final vet and print, not to mention, 2 weddings to edit...

It hard to get everything done within such a short period of time. But don't worry..things will just work out fine :)
