Review: Vexille 2077 (Jap Anime movie)
I blogged about this movie Vexille 2077 last Nov and finally I managed to watch it on DVD today....
Conclusion: if I have 10 thumbs, I would give it 10 thumbs-up!
It's superbly rendered, storyline tight and grips you all the way to the end. The story of love, courage, righteousness, sacrificial for the greater good that is so synonymous with the Japanese culture kept the storyline in check and well-paced.
I was rooted from the very start of the animation till the very end... the flawlessly rendered CG scenes, the integration of 2D animation into 3D CGI.. the beautiful soundtracks and the very intrigue storyline just make this animation a MUST-HAVE.
Directed and produced by Sori Fumihiko and his VFX studio, Oxybot (the same director and team that brought you AppleSeed), this film is really a must watch for Japanimation fans!
