thanks to FaerieImps' recommendation of great French cuisine, we went off to Le Bistrot (located @ Indoor Stadium) for dinner tonight...
well, no time to post pics for now coz I got a wedding to cover tomorrow but both Ms Clover and me give the delectable food, cosy ambience and attentive services 4 thumbs-ups! Well who wouldn't after a superb 3 course dinner consisting of Gratinated Onion Soup/ Tripes a la Nicoise, Duck leg Confit/ Yorkshire pork, Mousse au Chocolat/ Creme brulee, 2x Gonet Champagne and 2x Red and White House wine... parfait!
The food quality's so much better than Le Troquet located along Balastier Rd although Le Bistrot doesn't seem have Foie Gras on the menu.
Next up, Au Petit Salut French restaurant in Harding Rd :)

wooohooo!!! u reminded me that i gotta try the duck leg confit. they said it's good and wayy better than Ember's at Hotel 1929.
au petit salut is now at harding road (dempsey area), dude. at the building where the old flying club was. u can see it clearly frm the road. no more at chip bee gardens.

imp: yeah, the duck confit in its glorious servings and delicious to the bone. Super recommended but may be a tad salty for those who don't like duck but the meat is so moist... man, it melts in the mouth.
ooohhhh.... hmm.. okie, the one @ Chip Bee Gdns is the Bistro.. hehe.. thanks for the heads-up!
