Journey of a coin
this got me thinking....
I was just fiddling with some coins in my hand while waiting to pay for my drink @ the kopitiam and I just so happened to noticed that one of the S$1 coin was minted in 1989. Wow... that's almost 18 years of circulation.
Although in the world of currency, this age is just considered baby but it got me thinking about the journey of this coin.
How many hands have it actually gone through? Has it ever been overseas and back again? What was the longest time it has spent with the owner? What has it seen? So many questions...

I have always, always, wanted to write a composition titled "The Journal of a Coin".
I'd imagine it would be such a fascinating journey.
