Monday... Blues
Although I dun consider Frank Sinatra's music to be the blues but it helped me got along what happened on Monday.... if only my PSP can do phone calls too.. hahhaha
I lost my precious handphone in a taxi enroute to my print lab to settle some stuff yesterday afternoon. Sigh.. no, I forgot to check my seat before I left the taxi and no, I forgot to take the reciept of the taxi as well coz I was seriously in a rush. Usually I would do that but then dunno why... ohh well..
The physical phone is immaterial to me but it's all the contacts that are very important coz usually I would input some general info about my clients as well as my family members into the phone for easy access and now it's gone.... darn it. Thank God that I have iSync-ed my previous phone but I lost about 2 months worth of data as well as some SMSes that are important to me.
I only left the taxi for 3 -5 mins before I realised I have misplaced it and when I tried calling back my phone, it has been turned off! Sianz... so I quickly called Ms Clover and thanks to her quick thinking and planning, she quickly helped me terminate the SIM card and got a replacement one activated as well as gooten me a new replacement phone (all within 3 hours!!! haha, got to hand it to her :D ) as I have 4 appointments planned out last night and I need my phone to be around for ease of contact...
So eventually she got me the phone I have been eyeing on (the Nokia N73) for some time also since its launch... hehehe.. the camera is superb man!
Sigh, felt so 'handicapped' without my phone even for a brief 3 hours yesterday...
