As a photographer, it's very important to know who and what the couple is like. In so doing, when you take a shot of them, it should reflect their true nature and enhance those qualities through photography.
To me, both Nic and Jojo are romantics... on the last shot, when the videographer took the opportunity to create shots for the montage later in the evening, I too, stole a secret moment of them in their spontaneous expression of love on this, their wedding day...
To Nic & Jojo, my heartfelt congratulations and I pray for multitude of blessings in your new life together as a couple : )
will update more when I am back from the evening portion... ^.^

Okie, I was supposed to do an update when I was back from covering the dinner but due to my last minute packing and getting myself ready for the morning flight out from Senai Airport to Penang, I have left this post idle till I have internet connectivity again.
I felt that I have unofficially held my 2nd wedding photography exhibition @ the grace of Nic & Joj's wedding. It was some time in July that we took a day out on a weekday to shoot some images for their coffeetable book and what originally was to be 8x12 inch prints ended in 10 A1 sized offset prints and 1 super 2m by 2.5m standee print out displayed @ the reception area outside the ballroom!
Long story short here but I have suggested to the couple that instead of having people crowding around the 18x12 inch photobook which normally yields from the bridal shoot (pre-wedding) why not try a gallery display style and exhibit the favourite prints so that 1) you get to utilise the huge space the reception area has usually, 2) everyone can see the printout big and need not to huddle in one corner and 3) everyone can get a glimpse of who the couple is really like through the shots... although this idea is not new but due to the logistics and cost involved, couples usually do not do this unless they have the resources already.
Nic did a most excellent job of printing the images out and I was so stunned to see the beauty of the shots in the print quality and the sheer size of the displays... it's really like walking into an exhibition and I'm really proud to say that those are my work displayed there of the couple. I'm just so happy that Nic and Jojo liked my work to try this concept out and for the immense trust in my skills to make them look good in those shots :)
WIll try to post the pics later on when I get back to S'pore as I didn't store them in my laptop for fear of data loss or corruption.
Anyway, got to sleep now so will update again when I reach BKK. Cheerz!!
the 2nd piece... very nice especially the shading contrast of the lights..
