Labour Day
May Day.. I always love the month of May.. brings to mind the beauty of nature and spring.
Went out early with Ms Clover to grab a good breakfast @ IKEA (the breakfast is insanely cheap...!) We ordered a Lontong, a Western breakfast with 2 cups of tea and a small potato salad and everything cost only SGD$5.20 and that fed us pretty well. As we came right in the time of transition to Lunch, convieniently, we also grab 4 chicken wings also.. hehehe
After IKEA, we headed downt o Queensway Shopping center as I would like to take look @ a squash racket which caught my interest after my last game with Sam, Maggie and Ivy. The Prince TT Viper.. amazingly light and very responsive for me to improve my game.
Later which we went off to town to meet a client while Ms Clover goes to kinokuniya to do some travel research on our upcoming trip to Hong Kong/ Macau in july.
Before heading off to meet up with Shyam and gang, we managed to sneak a little time in between to hop down to Borders and have a light afternoon tea @ Sun with Moon.. hehehe...
The squash game @ Shyam's friend's condo was pretty much a warm up and a practice session.. Ms Clover also got her 1st try @ playing squash and that gave her some really workout (she's complaining of muscle aches that never occur to her even when running or jogging). All in all, it was a good workout for all of us as we made friends and exercised at the same time.
What is a normal gathering without fellowshipping over a nice dinner @ Bendeemer's Prata & Prata shop where we had a good meal of Mee Goreng, Bee Hoon Goreng, pratas and all the little bites like papadums....

A good way to end the long weekend and a great start to the week ahead!
