Fun as a PA :)
I've always wanted to be a PA to a established photographer and God is good coz I landed myself as a PA (Photography Assistant) to this German Photographer who came to Singapore to do a shoot for the CEO of a German bank... yes... he is especially flown in from Shanghai (where he's doing another shoot) on business class to take the shots.
It gets really interesting coz I was kinda fearful at first how this photographer of 25 years of experience going to turn out: will he be the super stuck-up kind where he expects you to wait on him hand and foot OR will he be the typical German guy who is rather critical on all things around him OR is he way out of my expectation?
Well.... he's well out of my expectation, in the good way. He's totally friendly, very cheerful and humerous over the little things we deemed common in the Singapore life. A very experienced photographer who had travelled to many countries to do his stuff: people editorial photography. He shared a lot about his work, his philosophy on work and some of the funny stuff he encountered.. really cool guy :) His producer aka business friend and photo assistant as well, was ultimately cool as well. Often acting as his translator (Steffen's not really good with English but good enough for conversation) Peter (the producer) is comically relaxed and excited. Ohh did I mention that he loves coffee and we whacked 3-4 coffees from YaKun through today's recce?
Anyway, tomorrow (Fri) the day of the shoot so gtg. Update again on Sat .. very early call-time :D

Wah... Nice... I would love to try it out one day... Heh... I doubt I will qualify to be one... Haiz... Friday... In Penang!
Traveling a lot lately.... But no time for photos... What a waste!
Oh I might be in Korea for a week, but no see sunlight for the week... Very, very tight schedule...
