'Live' from Taipei
Hey hey...
It's great to have ethernet connection in the hotel room down here at Cosmos Hotel, Taipei :)
Here's a very short and quick update from our trip..
The weather here's pretty cooling (9 - 11 degrees avg, colder when the wind blows or when you are higher up in the mountain areas), Serene and I were like really welcoming this kind of weather except when it gets really too cold for comfort.. haha... Taken very very little photos, really needed a break from being a shutterbug... 1st time feeling the strain of having a photographic journey captured ... must be the cold climate and those dreamy steamy hot food we stuff ourselves to keep warm.
Anyway, here's a sneak peek of our hotel room back on the 2nd night - yesh.. a 2 storey city view room complete with a gigantic bathroom area, a living room area and best of all, a 2nd floor bedroom :) Talk about ultimate shiok-ness. The cost? SGD$150 a night only... since this place is located on the waist of the mountain in XiZhi, Taipei.. it's really kinda secluded... a real getaway from all the hustle of citylife...
Well, I guess I will update more when I have the time... need to pack for our trip down to TaiChung tomorrow afternoon... we are planning to go up to HeHuanShan to check out the snow... heard that the view's fantastic :D YangMingShan here in Taipei is not snowing and no cherry blossoms oso... sad...
