I hate Apple....
and now here they introduced this:
don't you love the specs? :p
well, after watching the intro clip on the Apple website, it's really nice but not really practical. I'm not decided about the introduction of the SSD (Solid State Disk) though.
CONS:
1) the DVD drive is a separate thing so it means one more thing to carry around
2) it is dependent on Wireless connection and another existing OS if you need an optical drive setup (if you are not getting the portable DVD drive)
3) Aluminium construction could mean more warpping of the screen after some period of usage
4) 1 USB port - means you have to have a USB hub to use the number of USB peripherals you carry along (mouse, thumbdrive etc)
PROS:
1) Lightweight, really freaking thin and it's a core 2 Duo Macbook
2) Very useful and friendly for travelling
3) Trackpad gestures - this is really cool as a gimmick
4) Network setup is much intuitive and simpler. Just detect and play.
Recommended for students who does not really need alot of the peripherals, for business travellers who need a lighter workstation and for the occasional indulgences of Mac fanatics :D
Apple just keep upping itself!!!

as much as i love the lightweight, i don't think i can live with just 1 usb port!!!
besides from the way i use it, the extra peripherals i want would make it bulky. :P
you gonna get one?
