did i forget to mention that...
2) that they have Kyoho grape alcoholic drinks?
3) plastic toys molds of miniature food cost 1/3 of the price sold in Singapore?
4) beer, like in most foreign countries, is cheaper than bottled water?
5) cigarettes are sold in vending machines in nooks and corners all over the country and they are dirt cheap?
6) taxi rides in Kyoto starts @ 580 yen for the 1st km and subsequently 200m for 80 yen? Tokyo taxi starts @ 660 yen ~.~!
7) personal toilets are really small yet they have a bath tub in all of them?
8) transportation by Japan Railway and their subways is quite a substantial expense without the JR pass?
9) Tokyo itself is so big that it takes us 28mins just to get from Akihabara to Shibuya? That's only on the Yamanote line without factoring that we have to get from Asakusa to Akihabara via the Tsubasa Express line.. so walking from one station to the next in a linear manner is like walking from Bishan to Cityhall?
10) we just couldn't wake up in time to go to the Tsukiji Fish Market? Sigh....
:p
you did not go tsukiji?? oh no!!! thats the best part of tokyo.
