Just rolling...
It was quite some time already since I have written a decent account on this blog (apart from posting wedding pictures and linking things here and there) so just my normal rantings here.
After recovering from a bout of flu midweek (must be the changing climate..again), I was in a mad panic to finish some of the outstanding work that has been lying around (and I have even started posting Post-It tabs to remind me of the pre-existing Post-It tabs that I have written days and weeks earlier). Slept only an average of 3 - 4 hours each day.
Sometimes I really wish that creativity can be like a tap where you can have it on demand. Many times, I can just sit and stare at the photos on my computer and nothing inspiring comes to mind and yet at times, it just pushes you on to create better. I hate to present work that is 1/2 past... So currently tied up with a very tight dateline on a publication that I have to get it out by next week latest, doing up my coffeetable book designs, 2 more weddings to edit and some pre-wedding shots that will be printed in large format. My brain juice is seriously depleting...
Met up with Mudgod and Ms P earlier in the afternoon to pass 'em their ROM photos from Japamala as well as some of the highlights you have seen from the endlessly looping slideshow from the online Slide program. I'm very happy with the images that I have shot for them coz its just true to the nature of this couple: a simple sweet love for one another and not forgetting the beautiful Japamala Resorts that brings out that beautiful island feel.
Around noonish, met with a nice couple who are quite busy office execs (okie VP and AGM) that we sat thru' our meeting for about 40 mins before they have to rush back to office, I wonder if they managed to have lunch or not... Coming back to town after meeting with Mudgod and Ms P, I went to my print lab to collect something which I have absentmindedly left and grab a very quick bite @ Spinelli's. Didn'y like their new stew (Chicken and Mushrooms) coz I find it too can-food like.. their oxtail stew was much better the other round.
Met another couple in the evening and by the time I'm done, I'm zombied. The moment the meeting was done, I went to grab a cab and thinking maybe just one more errand to my album maker before calling it a day but midway, I changed my mind and went back to Bishan instead. Totally knocked out on the cab.
and that's how my day and week went... *yawns*

actually lack of sleep kills your immune system...making you fall ill...making you unproductive and tired...causing you to rush your work and be frustrated...making you lack sleep... (and the cycle repeats itself)
