Sianzzz x 1 billion....
My 16-35 lens broke @ the zoom ring.... dun ask me how I did it but it just broke (in the midst of shooting the last part of the dinner farewell) and now I'm stuck with the wannabe prime lens @ 16mm (thankfully still can focus)... Good and bad: 16mm is the wide portion but when I want to zoom in, I have to walk in very close. Think I will get a 20mm prime oso for standbys liao...
Sigh... it will be a mad rush to send it to Canon Servicing Center on Sat morning to access the financial damage and see if it's worth it to repair or get a new one... darn! The money I am saving for my trips are in a very precarious situation of being used for something as unnecessary as this....
