Creativity space
Here's an article (gotten from Ngiap Heng's blog, thanks Heng for the link!) about creative photographers given free rein on their human subjects who believes in their creativity.
One2One : introduction by William Hannigan
I particularly love this shot of Charlize Theron by Andrew Macpherson - Click to view
it embodies her as a woman of extreme beauty and of feminine charms in a photojournalistic approach.
Check out the rest of the series here (in thumbnails format - Click to see thumbnails of One2One
actually the series really inspires me to try something similar with my newly bought 50mm. Anyone wants to volunteer ? :D I'm serious
and ohh! I just gotten a very nice email from a would-be client that she would like me to take her AD wedding pics all in monotones! YES!!!!!! Finally!
Who's your would-be client? :P
Btw, I posted here too - http://community.livejournal.com/sg_weddings/47578.html

I want to model... but I'm not very feminine and photogenic. How? But if you agree to use me as model, then you really test your photo skill lor...hee hee

Actually it's a wrong concept to harbour that those who step infront of the camera must be very beautiful and pretty and etc... but I think true beauty exhibits itself even in the rawest form. Would you discount the value of a rough diamond found in a mine?
I believe in an open approach to photography and I like to photograph people as ordinary as me :) so yeah! I have my 1st subject!
