I can't find the creativity switch...
decided to buy some NatGeo mags to read and am still very intrigued by the images and quality presented by the mag... shots that makes you just go "WOW! That's really beautiful... and so captiviting in its own rights"
The Dec's issue quite interesting, talking about the fabled sea monsters that reside in our deep recesses of the mind but this time, with the help of CG and imagery, they showcased some of the prehistoric dinosaur-like sea creatures that might have shaped our imagination to the likeness of the Loc Ness Monster to the Giant squid. But then these giants actually do exist and recently in India, they discovered huge fossils being uncovered due to the tsunamis effect.
Anyway, watched Marche de l'empereur some time back and was very touched by the beauty of this documentary. The Song and Narration (in french) added to the whole effect of the film... the strong survival instinct of both the Emperor Penguins and their offsprings and how, despite all looking alike (at least to me), still managed to distinguish their partners and their offsprings from hundreds - thousands gathered at their 'sacred' mating place.
