.....
Computer side.. reaped out the old drive and reinstalled XP onto the newer drive I got recently... now going to make this old drive an external HDD for my pB after reformating it. While I was at redoing the drives, I totally cleaned up and re-wired the mess of wires and make them more 'systematic' to find and definitely more tidy (can't stand mess oso) BUT alas, my ADSL modem's power supply unit's connecting pin snapped and I deemed it's hopeless to repair it so I have to go search for an alternative tomorrow... if not NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!!! No more wireless freedom!!
Went down to Millennia Walk to meet the couple whom I will be covering their A.D wedding in April 2nd/4th.. very interesting, something out of the ordinary. Got bouquet throwing, got "JUST MARRIED" sign tied to car, got front pouch breakfast buffet for ROM in the morning... hmm... lots to cover liao
Then went to Suntec to meet my darling who is going to the gym (IPPT coming - dreaded time for all service personnels), while waiting went down to Carrefour to check out on some electrical stuff. Saw this 26" LCD display by Shinco for less than 2.5K.. not badz.. can compare it to the Aquos.... colors and display very good. Very impressed with SHINCO since it's so affordable oso.
Discussed this plan with darling on the way home: we will start buying these items over the 3 years before marriage and by the time we are ready in 2008, we will have 1 48" LCD plasma in the living room, one 26" LCD in the bedroom, 2 hifi-sys (good one in the living room of coz) and then the rest like furniture and renovations come closer to the date of marriage. Rational is more like this: I figured that since I have the house already and we are going to live in it after marriage, why not start to do up a little at a time so that we dun have to spend a bomb after the wedding or in the midst of the wedding (hmm... like you have to partition your money to financing the home, doing the renovations, getting the furniture and its accessories and at the same time, spend on your wedding...quite hefty leh) renovations will be simple ones (no walk in wardrobes/ no built in rewiring for the hi-fi sys..etc) oso so most of the things we bought can be brought over to our future new home.
Sigh... lots to think about.... got to go pack fieldpack liao.. *and where's that helmet..darn...*
plan sounds good! :)
